Oh so little time

Update!!!

-December 18, Thursday-

It was our Christmas party.
More of, our LAST Christmas party in High School.
Yes, I felt a little down, but nevertheless, I made most out of it.

We had the Pagsasarili thingy in the morning. Little Pagsasarili kids went to OB for the annual Christmas party.
We had to wear our CAT uniform for the last time this year.
They were cute kids:) I especially liked the fat kid! He was ADORABLE!
Okay, I can't tell you guys a lot about our Thursday morning 'cause I was really bored.
Not that I didn't like the kids, I just wasn't in the mood that day.

Anyway, the real party started at 2 in the afternoon.
We were all dressed up in our party outfits.
Most of us, girls, wore dresses which we thought is a change from the usual slacks and skirt.
We started off with a game before we all could get our hands on the chicken.

By the way the chicken is from Rose Mary Chicken.
It's located in Phase 1 inside BF.
SUPER YUMMY!

Okay, going back.
The first game was the Calamansi Relay thingy.
It was fun.
It was the girls (mostly the betches) versus the boys.
And we all know who'd win.
WE GIRLS DID. But the boys claimed that we cheated.
Phf...yeah right. HAHA!
Then we had lunch.

After stuffing ourselves with mostly chicken, we had another game.
The game was Newspaper Dance.
It was kinda fun.
I was INTENTIONALLY partnered with Efren (long story)
Beverly was partnered with Mike, Reba was with Rei, Lauren was with Teng and AC was with Amiel.
The first pair that was taken off was AC and Amiel.
Apparently, Amiel couldn't fit well in the newspaper.

Oh yeah! Bevs you might hate me but this just made me laugh!

Me: "NO!!! Mabigat ako! I'm a fat kid!"

Mike: *looks at everyone and suddenly realizes that all the girls in the game were being carried/ lifted up*
Mike: "ANG DAYA! YUNG MGA PARTNER NIYO MAGAGAAN!"

HAHAHAHAHA! Okay! I'm really sorry Bevs! Sobrang natawa ako sa sinabi ni Mike!
Okay, SKIP.

The next game was Funny Bone.
It was Beverly's turn to be paired with Efren.
Hen was with Teng, Mike was with Anjela, Bea was with Rei and Ms.Zamora was with Mr.Mendez.
THEY WERE CUTE! Especially Beverly and Ef. HAHAHA!
Okay, I'll stop.

After funny bone we had the Egg Toss.
Ms.Zamora and Rei won.
Sayang Bevs! Lakas kasi ng throw ni Bea!

Then we had the traditional Exchange Gifts.
I didn't expect Efren to pick me.
I mean of all the people I thought who got me, si Ef lang pala.
Haha! Joking.
Not that it bothers me. Unexpected lang.

After that we had a small Awarding Ceremony.
Ms.Jocson handed out certificates of recognition to everybody.
I got the "Sweetest Girl" award which I think is sort of weird since I don't consider myself as sweet at all but nevertheless I was flattered.

All-in-all: I'm glad this last Christmas party we had turned out to be the greatest one I've had in all my years in O.B.

-December 19, Friday-

I went to ATC with my aunt and uncle to buy the presents I felt obligated to give to my friends. It took me hours to finally settle for boxer shorts. Haha!
Yes, boxer shorts. BUT for my girlfriends that is.
As for Mike and Louie (She was the one I got in the exchange gift and I just thought my gift was a little bitin, so I decided to buy her one more), I ended up buying shirts for them.
It was sort of embarrassing. I went to a LOT of stores just to find Mike the right shirt.
I later on surrendured and stomped off to Pop Culture (for the 3rd time) to settle for the purple robot shirt I had my eyes on during my first try in Rompa.
Then sinabay ko na ren yung shirt ni Louie.
I bought her a BROWN robot shirt. Haha! Which i realized once I got in the car that the gift I gave Louie during the Christmas party was also a BROWN shirt.

DANG. Too late na ren.
Oh well.

Oh and I saw ate Eyzelyn in Pop Culture.
It was a little awkward but she made the awkwardness go away once she lifted a hand and greeted me a 'hi'.
As a polite person would do, I said 'hi' back.

-December 20, Saturday-

Went to Amalias to see of what I thought would be a complete 4B for the last time this year.
A lot didn't come, but it still fun. At least andun yung mga happy peeps.
Aw! AC wasn't there:((

I was a little early so I stopped by Tropical Hut to buy the sprayer I promised Mike I'd bring so then he'd give me the fungicide suspension which hindi na natuloy kasi natapon sa bag ni Che yung spray ng fungicide. AWMEN.

Anyway, after buying the spray I still had a LOT of time ahead of me so I went to Ruins with my uncle
We looked around for awhile and finally got a text from Bevs that says that I could go to her place just to kill the time.
So I went to Beverly's breathtaking place.
GRABE! ANG GANDA.
It was like a resort! I SUPER DUPER love the 4th floor(?). Her parent's have really good taste! Kudos to them!

Then we went to Amalias na.
I greeted Ms.Jocson with an "A for promptness!" quote since we really early.
It was my first time in Amalias. Bevs and I were the first ones to arrive.
Then Ruf and Paola followed.
And so did the others.

We had spaghetti with fish sticks(?), paella and for dessert we had frozen brazo.
The food was yummy. I especially liked the paella.
Si Ms.Jocson pa nga yung nag cook for us eh.
It was really special.
After that we took some pics outside Amalia's and bid Ms.Jocson goodbye and a merry Christmas.
Reb, Lauren, Hen, Anjela, Mike and Rei went to Platinum while Teng, Gaby, Drea, Zhaii, Ruf and Paola went to Drea's house.
Bea had to go to Alabang to visit her mom and Bevs and I decided to stay at her place for the Christmas party.

We did NOTHING.
We took pictures, experimented on some and had the guts to make a CRIBS episode featuring Beverly's more-of-a-mansion-than-a-house house.
Specifically the 4th floor(?) which I think is the greatest floor I've seen compared to the other floors.
We had several attempts, most of which contains clips of Beverly laughing due to lack of confidence and concentration.
I did my share too since Bevs wouldn't last 3 minutes without laughing on cam.
I would say mines was a lot better than Bevs. I was pretty confident doing it.
But the last part had to be the greatest.
We kept on repeating that last scence and laughed endlessly.
It was funny.

By the way, I saw Min Seun and Sarina Legaspi at Bevs' place.

Had a great time at your place Bevs! Even though wala tayong ginawa! Haha!

-December 21, Sunday-

I woke up at 3:30 am for Simbang Gabi.
Bread of Life was due to perfrom at the dawn mass on December 21.
Since I lost my voice (Well, not completely. More of a hoarse voice but nevertheless a whisper is all I could do successfully) I was ordered to be in computer duty since I sound horrible in my condition and I don't think the people will appreciate Nickelback as the second voice. So basically, I was the one who's gonna show the lyrics to the song on the projector.
And as expected, I made a couple of mistakes.. again.

HHHAAAYYY...

After that we went to Tagaytay.
Then the rest of the day was boring.
I mostly slept 'cause I was tired and I felt sick.

Dang you CHOCOLATES!!!!

-December 22, Monday-

Wasn't able to attend Simbang Gabi since my dad didn't allow me to because of the cold wind that might make my hoarse throat worst.

I did nothing except using the PC and reading Twilight.

BORING.

Oh and my voice is a lot better than yesterday, though it's the same voice I had at Amalias.
Still no sign of complete recovery.

I sound like David Cook.

-Part 2-

I'm currently reading Twilight.
Finally, I've finished half of the book.
The book is nice kaso lang SOBRANG tagal ni Bella mag describe ng stuff.
Fully detailed siya mag describe, that's why I skip a lot of paragraphs.
They're sort of boring.
As far as I've read, I'm much more satisfied with the book rather than the movie.

Here are some of what I noticed about the book that was quite off in the movie:
* Edward is a lot more nicer in the book. Kasi for me, Edward in the movie is sort of suplado and masungit while Edward sa book, he's pretty talkative, he laughs a lot and friendly siya.
* Bella is more outgoing. Kasi sa movie, sobrang "twitchy" siya but in the book she acts pretty cool and normal. In the movie, she keeps a lot of things to herself.
For me, it was a little O.A.
* Bella didn't meet Jacob in her place, she met Jacob at the beach.
* Mike, Eric and Tyler likes Bella.
* SOBRANG dramatic nung attempt nilang gawing sa woods yung scene na malalaman na ni Bella na vampire pala si Edward. I hated that scence. SOBRANG O.A.
The real thing was they were in the car talking and it was casual.
No drama at all.

Basta! I like the book more than the movie.
Quite dissapointing.
Haay nako.
I hope New Moon will be a lot better.
Oh and I hope na palitan na nila si Jacob.
I NEVER EVER want to see his face again.
Haha!

Hello there! Been a while!

Just wanna update.

December 11- Food Fair

Haha. It was alright. I swear I ate A LOT that day! There were a lot of food to choose from BUT only a few made my taste buds happy. I LOVED the arozcaldo! Kudos sa "Meals on Wheels" for that! It was TASTY! Haha!
So, we sold shakes and NOT ice cream. Hahaha!
Yes, apparently our tarpaulin said "ICE CREAM AND SHAKES" which was kind of weird since we weren't selling ice cream at all. It was sort of embarrassing 'cause some ordered ice cream and all we could say was "uhm, shakes lang po binebenta namin" or "we don't sell ice cream" and afterwards they'll give us the "bakit-pa-may-ice cream-sa-tarpaulin-niyo-kung-hindi-kayo-magbebenta-nun" look.
It was a cringe moment.

Anyway, we earned about 13000+.
Okay na ren noh? BUT we lost to the 1st year students "Sago't Gulaman" booth.
MEN. Hahaha! Well, at least 2nd place?

Oh and good thing walang nag over-heat na blender! WHEW!
Good job 4B!

Wow. Last Food Fair ko na pala yun.
Oh well.

-Event 2-

December 13 - ATC

Went to ATC last Saturday.
SUPER DUPER FUN DAY!
Gosh! Kahit wala kaming ginawa, SOBRANG fun paren!

First was Beverly's visit to my house.

To Bevs: Told you wala tayong gagawin!

Gave her a tour of my house, took pictures and ate lunch.

Oh! By the way, Twilight was alright. I expected a lot but nevertheless it was worth seeing.
Oh well. I'm just gonna have to read the book to feel the "thrill"

Oh and yes. Jacob's face was DEAD annoying!

Well, whatev! I'm just glad they'll replace him in New Moon.

After the movie, we ate at Food Court. We saw Ilana and Andre together.
Then went to Timezone, saw Ilana and Andre AGAIN.

Buti nalang masyadong concentrated yung korean kid at hinayaan na.

Since my dad was calling me for the -th time, I told Bevs to text her mom so then she could pick us up and drive me home (Bevs was my ride the whole day)
So we left and stopped by Festival Mall 'cause her mom was shopping for furniture.
We waited for a while, talked, ate dinner and left.

By the way, your (Beevee's) mom's COOL.
And I mean it!
Thankies again!

Okay, so here's the weird part:
You guys know that I'm not into going out, partying and the like outside with friends right?
Well, that's partially because my parent's (specifically, my dad) don't allow me to.
Since I went home at around 9 that Saturday, I was fully prepared to be scolded by my dad once Beverly drops me off.
I was gonna say a couple of excuses when he interrupted and asked me about my day.
I said it was fun and I had a great time (I was little confused of the delayed scolding)
It turned out, he was TOTALLY fine with it.
He didn't even bother asking my why we took long.
Basta! Sobrang unexpected.
I know it's a little shallow, but if you were in my place or you were a close friend of mine, you'd understand.

I thought my neighbors were too excited for Christmas and New Year
It was loud. It was, as if, the people that were playing with the fireworks were just outside our house
but it turned out to be a "shoot out" near our place
Apparently, there were car nappers / robbers being chased when the police finally killed them with guns
And the sad thing is, may mga civilian na nadamay.

What's going on with the world na?
No. What's going on with the PEOPLE?!?!
They're completely out of their minds.
They'd steal just to get food in their tummy?
Sure they're hungry but they just can't be that desperate.
Iba na kasi eh. What they thought could get better 'cause of the money they took ended up to be what they lost.
Their LIVES.

Why would anyone risk THAT?

Don't worry! More good things about about you will come!

* He's smart! Kahit minsan pala-kopya siya (SOBRANG lakas nito kumopya), magaling siya mag-isip. He's street smart! Rami niyang alam tungkol sa mga iba't-ibang bagay. I admire his way of thinking.

* SUPER DUPER funny si Rei! Kahit sobrang walang sense yung mga pinagsasabi niya, he still makes us laugh. And the amazing thing is, effortless siya magpatawa.

* He's a great leader! He's Captain Ball of the Basketball Varsity and Class Mayor namin siya. I honestly think he's doing a great job. Ay wait lang...pasaway ren kasi eh. Okay, I take that back! Hahaha! Kidding! Napapasunod niya kami sa rules (okay...NOW I'm kidding!)

* He's a cool guy! Hindi ko ma-explain why I consider him as one of the coolest people I know. Basta! Let's just say he's into the newest trends, hindi siya baduy and for a guy, maganda sense niya for style.

The worst

I promised to make a continuation of the post yesterday, remember?

Well, Imma keep that promise.
Let me start off with my morning yesterday.

I woke up at 4am and left the house at quarter to 5, I think.
We were gonna meet up with my tita in Shell.
Upon arriving the gasoline station, there was a car accident in the scene.
I saw a black Adventure tilted sideways.
There were broken glass scattered on the floor.
What looked like to me was a family on a road trip.
Good thing no one got hurt.
And the whole accident happened 5 minutes before we arrived at Shell.

Lucky indeed.

Anyway, the trip to Pangasinan took us 4-5 hours.
Oh yeah, the reason why we went to Manaoag is because my mom wanted to attend mass.
It was my first time there and I wasn't impressed at all.
There were A LOT of people and the place was...dirty.
Basta! Malala yung place.
And then after the trip to Manaoag, we went to Clark
We specifically went to Duty Free
And let me tell you the place was a lot worst than the church in Manaoag.
Ang GULO!!! Yung mga stuff kung san-san lang nakalagay!
And the people...GOSH...
Ang RAMI nila!
GGRR...

All-in-all: THE WORST

Para lang siyang Subic except 5 times dirtier lang yung sa Clark.
UUUGGGHHH...
The minute I saw the place, nagsisi talaga akong sumama ako.
It's like divisoria except magaganda and imported yung mga binebenta.
But still, considering the place...
NO GOOD.

After that dreadful grocery in Duty Free, we went home na.
Another 5 hours in the car listening to the same old songs in my iPod.
hhaayyy...


Actually, ngayon ko lang na-realize na...
Nakaka pangsisi sumama ako. Damn it!
Never na akong pupunta dun!
I'm warning you all! Don't make the same mistake as I did!


Oh yeah and the sad news about our neighbor ruined the rest of my night too.
My dearest prayers for the Chavez family during this really, really hard time.
Such a big loss. He was a nice guy.

-Part 2-

Wanna share my day so far.

I was the one assigned for the computer thingy in our mass today.
My job was too make sure all the songs our choir sang were feautured in the big screen so then the rest of the people could sing along.
I was doing great the first half of the mass, no mistakes at all but then when i got to the second half, yeah...it wasn't pretty.
I made some VISIBLE mistakes but it wasn't that big so I calmed down after a minute or two.
(hey, I was nervous!)
But the mass announcements had to be the WORST.
I had NO idea what I was doing!

Today was awfully tiring!
I woke up at 4am and arrived home at I guess, 8pm.
Where did I go?
Manaoag and Clark
GOSH... I sat in the car for more than 8 hours doing NOTHING.

DAMN.

I'm just glad I'm home na! Thank you Lord!

We just had a party last night. Man, they were loud!
Who knew old people could be party animals too. Haha!
And they're not just ordinary old people, they were DOCTORS.
Yep, Doctors.
Apparently, one of them celebrated his birthday and my mom suggested to use our house as the venue.
There was karaoke, drinks, food, etc.
ANG LAKAS NILA KUMANTA.
It gave me a headache! Oh and the food was...
Grabe! Cholesterol was served in a big brown wooden tray.
Wala na ngang natira pag akyat ko para kumain.
Inubos na nila yung skin ng Lechon, which was kinda good in my part.
The thought of Lechon skin tempted me. Haha!
Glad they left nothing for me to devour.
HAHAHAHA!

Anyway, I'm too tired to make post.
I decided to make one for the sake of updating this shit.
Imma continue this post tomorrow.

Here's a little wrap-up of my day so far:
* Went to Makati to meet up with Tita Tani (Tan-eh) in Townes, Inc. to pick out the cloth we're going to use for the old sofa cushion we had for like, I don't know, 16 years?!?!
* Went to Glorietta and shopped.
* Still haven't given my report card to my parents (nag iisip pa ako ng magandang approach!)
* Draining my eyes from using the laptop
* Missing Tatay :(

I haven't seen him all day!
Darn you Pangasinan! Why do you have to be so far away!?!?

Anyway, I was supposed to attend Teng's birthday party today but hindi ako natuloy kasi tinamad ako and mas gusto kong lumabas with my mom:)
AAAWW!!! Haha! I'm not into attending parties.
I'm weird like that!

If you would be able to read this, which I'm pretty sure you could since anything is possible up there, I just wanna say thanks for bringing Bea in this world. You have no idea how good she is to us! Though at times (I'm gonna be honest here) she tends to be unbearable but hey, it's alright. I believe we all are. You don't have to worry about her 'cause she'll be fine with us:) We'll take good care of her! Promise! Kahit nasa college na kami, I'll make sure to give her a call or a text every other day (I'm going to be busy by then too) just to make sure she's alright! No worries Tita! Bea's strong naren! It's been 3 years and Bea's doing well:) That's probably because of Tito Karl too! He did a really good job! No, I mean a GREAT job! But I'm pretty sure you know that na since you've stood by them all these years.
Tita Bang, you've been blessed to have Tito Karl, Ate Karmela, Bea and Luis as your family and in no second thoughts, they sure are blessed to have you as their wife and mom. Bea told me countless stories about you then in one random morning, all of those stories came rushing back to me and you instantly became my inspiration. I wanna be like you:)
I was sure when you were still present in our eyes, you had no idea who I was. I was basically your daughters friend who kept on praying for your fast recovery. I was depressed the minute I found out you left. It was sad. But I guess things just happen at the most unexpected time. Right?
Anyway, Belated Happy Birthday Tita! Sorry kung "belated". I had no idea it was your birthday on the 19th. I'll keep that in mind next time:) Hope you're doing great up there! If you would, please check on my lolo's if they're alright. Thanks:)

Ang sad talaga! But we shouldn't be! This was God's plan and all of his plans consist nothing but the results of good. He doesn't want to hurt us or make us sad. He basically does these things to make us stronger and soon, we'll all end up happy:)
